Harrisburg 4th of July Parade

For anyone that this is your 1st Harrisburg 4th of July Parade, the parade takes place on the Southside of Hwy 49 only.  So, you want to sit on that side of the street if you aren't chaperoning.  Traffic continues to flow on the Northside of Hwy 49.  You will want to arrive early to get seats, or have one person drop and one person get seats.  It is usually 3 to 4 people deep all along the parade route.  You may want to park at Harrisburg United Methodist Church, since that is the pick up point.  The band will turn into the church, so you don't want to sit past the church entrance, or you won't get to hear them play.  In 2019, the Pride of Robinson was one of the last bands in the parade.
