Participation in Performance Ensembles and optional travel opportunities can be expensive for some.
The Booster provide as many fundraising opportunities as possible.
Some opportunities are to raise funds directly for the band program. Without these types of fundraisers, participation fees would be higher then they are today. We need everyone to participate and help raise these funds in order to continue growing our programs without raising fees.
We also provide opportunities to raise money that goes directly to your student's account. These funds will be applied first to unpaid balances from ensemble fees, then once those are covered, can be used for optional activities such as travel.

Mattress Sale

What is it? Informational meeting for the fundraiser followed by a short booster meeting with info on the fall semester bands, including marching band. If we get 75 adults to attend, the band gets $1000! Please come and bring adult friends and family.

What to Expect
We will bring 30+ test mattresses to the school. Our goal is to have your customer lay on them and pick out what is most comfortable to them. We have a friendly staff on site to assist and answer questions.
Mattress pricing starts at $152.10 with coupon and then goes up in $50-$100 increments up to thousands. We have low end, mid-range and high end just like a store, but we pay the band program for everything sold.
We order the mattress they like brand new for them in the size they want and can deliver to their home as well as dispose of their old mattress. Delivery/Disposal is 2-4 weeks from order. Free pick up from our Charlotte warehouse is 2-3 weeks from order.

Brand names like Purple, Simmons Beautyrest, Tranquility Sleep Systems and more. Adjustable Power Bases, Box Springs, Pillows, Protectors and Metal Frames are all available for order with your mattress purchase. We have all sizes, styles, comfort levels and all mattresses have full replacement warranties. Most are for 10 years.

Preview of Champions Ads & Shout-Outs
The Robinson Band Boosters invite you to place a print ad in the 2025 Cabarrus County Preview of Champions Marching Band Exhibition program. The exhibition will be hosted by Mount Pleasant High School on Saturday, September 13, 2024 (*rain date September 20) and features marching bands from nine Cabarrus County high schools.
The event will play to a full stadium of parents and supporters of the participating marching bands, making this an outstanding opportunity to showcase your business or send a shout-out to your favorite student(s).
The program includes each band's roster, musical selections, and leadership, as well as the day’s schedule and other event information. Business ads will be strategically placed near band information and family ads/photos for maximum exposure.
Proceeds from ad sales will be split between the student's band account and the band general fund with 70% going to the student and 30% going to the band. Half page and full page ads also come with one free program that can be picked up at the event.

Calendar Fundraiser
During a calendar fundraiser, students try to fill a month on a calendar by getting donations that correspond to each date. This allows people to donate from $1 - $31. Individuals can choose multiple dates to donate even more!

UNCC Basketball Concessions
Our biggest fundraiser of the year – the Bojangle’s Concession stand at Charlotte 49er basketball games – is underway!

Fundraising through the summer and fall has been focused on giving students an opportunity to raise money for fees and the NYC trip.

The 49ers Concession stand is crucial for the continued excellence of your band program – replacing and repairing 20+ year-old instruments, instructional support, new music, etc.

Participant fees do not cover the entire budget for our outstanding ensembles – Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Percussion Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Marching Band, and Winter Guard.
