Occasionally we need help for a specific event or activity. Those sign ups will be added here as needs arise.
Band Camp Snacks and Drinks
Focus on Healthy Snacks
The band is in need of healthy snacks and drinks for band camp, games, and competitions. You can purchase from the Amazon Wish list for delivery directly to our VP Hospitality. If you prefer to shop elsewhere, check the list for ideas, purchase, and bring to the band room on any day the kids rehearse.
PIT CREW
Thank you for checking out the Pit Crew Volunteer needs ! The Pit Crew Coordinator will be at all events but the following help is also needed.
Home Games
Six people to help transport props and percussion to and from the field. Typically we will ask you to arrive at school 5:30-6:00 pm.
Away Games
One person with a truck capable of pulling the small trailer with instruments. Arrive at school by 5:30 pm.
Competitions
Eight total people, including two with vehicles capable of pulling the band's trailers. (Those driving trucks are automatically volunteers too, so there is no need to sign up twice on the same date.) Times vary depending on our performance schedule, but generally 11 am until midnight.
CHAPERONES
Chaperones are needed for football games, competitions, and more.

Chaperone Requirements

Must have background check completed first. Link can be found above.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Volunteers sign up through Sign-up Genius (on website).

4 for football games

5-6 for competitions.

If you sign up and are not able to attend, please remove your name so someone else can volunteer.

Chaperones are to stay with band until they are dismissed after games/competitions. Must ride bus to games/competitions, sit/stand in band section. Families are not permitted to sit with band or ride on bus.

If a band member needs to leave band section to go to the bathroom, find a family member, etc. a chaperone is required to accompany them.

Complete uniform check lists before each game/competition.

During games and competitions, we provide the band members with water, put down mats on bleachers for their instruments, make sure we leave the bleachers the way we found them. Band members will assist as well.

Assist band with their uniforms in any capacity they need.
